The Miami heat organization surprise a lot people when all star forward jimmy Butler joined the team these off season.
These is one of many moves heat president pat Riley has done throughout his entire career as a Gm, like when he traded for then NBA star big men Shaquille Oneal to pair with then second year guard Dwayne wade to win a championship and when he assemble the big 3 in 2010 – 2011 season that went to four straight finals and won two straight championship.
Coming into the season there were report Pat Riley promise to bring a second star to team up with jimmy Butlers as many NBA teams has a star duo competing for a championship.
Many players and veterans were rumored to be joining the team via trade including former NBA MVP Russel Westbrook, former all star point guard Chris Paul and Washington wizard all star guard Bradely Beal who has extended his contract with the wizards.

Such deals never happened but the heat are playing extremely well under the leadership of their all star forward Jimmy Butler and their youngsters has been really impressive for the start of the season.
Youngsters such as tyler Herro , Chris Silva , Kendrick Nunn ,Bam Adebayor , Derrick Jones jr and Justice Winslow has improve their game but one player that has really stand out is third year center Bam Adebayor.
When the heat traded Hassan whiteside to the blazers to create cap space to sign butler , the organization put it hopes on the young center and it look like the right decision , as the youngster is playing really well for the season.Right now Adebayor is looking like the second star the heat is desperately looking for , as he has been jimmy Butler’s partner in crime for the season.
Adebayor is making a strong case to an all star these season as he is averaging career high in point(15.3) , rebounds(10.5) , assist(4.4) , steals(1.4) and blocks(1.2). His recently triple double performance in a win against the Hawks caught the attention of NBA legend and TNT analyst Charles Barkely who said the youngster deserve to be an all star game these season.

“Let me tell you something,” Barkley began. “It’s early, but right now he deserves to be in the All-Star Game. He’s been great all year. They’re 18-6, he deserves to make the All-Star team if we were picking today. We’re not picking today, but Adebayo has been the second-best player on that team.”
These season Adebayo and Butler are averaging a combined point of 35.9 , it is not the pretty impressive stat like the other NBA star duos but what been most impressive about the duo is they do a lot of things that does not show up in the box score better. The two are elite defenders at their positions.
Players defended by Adebayor are shooting 39.6 percent for the season ( 6.6 percent below those players combined shooting percentage), that is pretty impressive for a player who has never made the NBA all defensive team in his career. Butler on the other hand has made NBA all defensive team four times in his career and he is living up to the expectation on that end by limiting the player he is guarding to 37.7 percent ( 6.8 percent below those players combined shooting percentage)
The heat are posting an elite defensive rating of 100.8 and an impresive offensive rating of 111.9 with both Butler and Adebayor on the court.
The duo are really locking down opposition scoring threat every night that has led to the heat winning a lot of games. Currently the heat are second in the eastern conference with a record of 18 – 6 records .
