4. Enter your login credentials on the website again and this time Chrome should prompt you to save the password.
5. Click on “Save” or “Save Password” when prompted.
6. Once you’ve saved your password in Chrome, it will be filled in automatically whenever you visit that website and need to log in.
How to find your saved password in Chrome
If you want to find a saved password in Chrome, you can follow these steps:
1. Open Chrome and click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the window.
Click on “Settings.”
2. Scroll down to “Autofill” and click on “Passwords.”
3. You’ll see a list of all the passwords you’ve saved in Chrome.
4. Look for the website or account for which you want to view the password and click on the eye icon to the right of the password.
5. You’ll be prompted to enter your computer password, fingerprint, or other security measures if you have them set up, to verify your identity.
After you verify your identity, Chrome will reveal the saved password for that website.
Keep in mind that Chrome will only reveal the password for a specific website or account if you have previously saved the password for that website or account. Please note that If you have not previously saved the password, Chrome will not be able to show it to you.
