Chelsea fc and belgium striker michy batshuayi on his role with the club and his intention ahead of the january transfer window.
After arrive at stamford bridge in the summer of 2016, the belguim striker hasn’t been able to nail down a regular starting place in the blues lineup. The future looked bright for the belgium international in his debut season after helping the blues to a premier league title, batshuayi goal off the bench help seal the win for chelsea to lift the trophy with some game left for the season.
Batshuayi has played under 3 different managers at chelsea and was loned out to dormund by former chelsea boss antonio conte in the second half of the 2017/2018 campaign and wasn’t given the chance by former manager maurizio sarri.
Chelsea striker Michy batshuayi began last season on loan in spain with liga club valencia but returned to england in january and played the second half of the season with crystal palace.
Summer transfer ban to the blues led to batshuayi staying at chelsea for the current campaign, although he is behind Tammy Abraham in the pecking order, he has not dissapiont when given the chance as he has scored some important goal these season, most recently coming of the bench to score the winner in the champions league against Ajax but has been linked with a move away from chelsea in search of a regular playing time in the upcoming transfer window.
Whiles admitting his role within the chelsea squad, the belgium striker admit being a role player at the west london club and ruled out a move in the january tranfer window.
